VFD Display Watch

VFD Display Watch is a retro digital watch face for Wear OS that recreates the glowing vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) of 80s hi-fi decks, car stereos and VCR clocks.

Made for fans of retro electronics, vintage audio gear and bold digital watch faces. Large glowing digits sit behind a fine metal mesh with faintly visible unlit segments, set in a glass-covered metal housing. Wake the screen and the level meters sweep up and settle, like a stereo powering on.

WAKE-UP ANIMATION
- Steps and battery level meters sweep up on every screen wake, then drop to your real values
- Plays like a hi-fi deck's power-on self-test
- Turn the animation on or off in the watch face settings
