About this game

Collect Pokémon Through Sleeping!

In the world of Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon with the same sleep type as you will gather around as you catch some Zs, so discover all the various different sleep styles that Pokémon can have as you aim to complete your Sleep Style Dex!

What A Day Looks Like in Pokémon Sleep

■ When Night Falls...
It’s time to track your sleep! All you need to do is place your smart device by your pillow (don’t place your device under your pillow or blankets as it may overheat), then call it a night. You can also play using sleep data tracked via your smartwatch.

■ A New Day Dawns
By the time you wake, Pokémon will have gathered in Pokémon Sleep based on your sleep type and how long you slept for. Carry out research on these Pokémon’s sleep styles to complete your Sleep Style Dex!

■ And the Rest of the Day...
Raise Snorlax big and strong! Snorlax will grow larger by receiving Berries from the Pokémon you befriend. The more you raise Snorlax, the greater your odds will be of encountering Pokémon with rare sleep styles!

Rest Your Very Best!

■ Check Your Sleep Report
What kind of sleep did you get last night? Your sleep report contains tidbits like how long you took to fall asleep, how long you spent in different sleep stages, and whether you snored or talked in your sleep.

■ Get Support to try to Sleep Your Best
You can have Pokémon at your side even when you sleep! With features like Pokémon-inspired music to relax you into sleep, plus smart alarms that wake you when you’re in a shallow stage of sleep, Pokémon Sleep may help you to rest your very best.

■ Smartwatch Pairing
By linking with Health Connect, you can use sleep data tracked through certain smartwatches to play Pokémon Sleep.

My goodness, it is a breath of fresh air to have a game that listens to its player base so often. You may think the prices in the shop are a bit expensive, but considering how much they take care of their players and the fact that this game's f2p model is much fairer than other games', I'd say it's well worth it. Two years later: no updates to my review.

I liked this app at first but it is exhausting to use over time. There are so many useless screens to skip through that take way too long to load and that do not give any valuable information, and there is no way to skip them all at once. It's a lot to deal with first thing in the morning and last thing before bed. The last thing I need is more stress and work right before bed and right when I'm waking up. This app turns bedtime into a chore, rather than relaxing me for sleep.

It's a decent game, but I get frustrated having to spend 5 minutes of my morning clicking through things just to finish looking at results and such- or worse, skipping it in the morning and then having to do it right before bed. There's so many steps and it gets monotonous after a bit. I've still got it installed but haven't played in a week or two and feel better NOT having to worry about it in the morning, honestly. Also, not being able to play without wifi ruined a streak a while ago. Boo.
