Long cold nights working at a trucker’s diner makes sassy waitress Misty pine for something more. She gets her wish when rumors spread about strange creatures seen in the night, and one of the regular diners tells her a haunting story.

Misty offers to help him, and before she knows it one trouble leads to another and she’s entwined in a web of death and undeath. The storyline is good, witty and entertaining but what makes me frustrated is why are the 60+ pages are called books. So many in a series which accounts to £16+ to read. That's but me off to continue the story. Now I understand why there are no reviews after the free book. It's a shame!

A quick read. Misty is a waitress who meets Roland who is a vampire. This is a different kind of vampire romance. I like Misty's quips. She holds her own against truck drivers and vampires.
