Sarah A. Hoyt

Bio, books and such.Sarah was born (and raised)in Porto, Portugal, where at the age of eight she decided she wanted to live in Denver and be a writer. No, she has no idea whatsoever why Denver. Her understanding of the world, at the time, might be judged by the fact that she thought Denver was by the sea.At any rate, having married a mathematician from Connecticut, she made her way to Denver in her late twenties. She's raised two sons and a countless number of cats in the Rocky Mountains, and overall feels no need to repine for the choice she made at eight. In a writing career spanning 20 years (so far) she's become a bestseller and received two prestigious awards (Prometheus: for Darkship Thieves, and the Dragon: for Uncharted, with Kevin J. Anderson.)She's published over 30 novels and over 150 short stories, in genres ranging from science fiction to mystery, to fantasy, to historical. At the moment, she's not written children's books, men's adventure or romance. But she makes no promises. As the mathematician has instructed her to warn "No genre is safe from her."
