Pajtim: Fair Settlement

Pajtim helps two adults settle a disagreement involving several property, service, or obligation issues. Instead of cutting every issue in half, each person privately places 100 priority points across the things that matter to them.

Both nearby devices confirm the same issue list first. Each priority list is then sealed with a signed cryptographic commitment before either list is revealed. Neither person can change their points after seeing the other person's choices.

Pajtim applies the Adjusted Winner fair-division method:

• Allocate each issue according to the two sealed priority lists
• Split at most one issue when the parties marked it divisible
• Keep indivisible issues whole and state any remaining imbalance plainly
• Check whether the calculated result is equitable, envy-free, and Pareto-efficient
• Compare the result with a simple 50/50 split

Both devices calculate independently. The signature step opens only after their canonical result hashes match. Each person sees the complete allocation before choosing whether to sign. When both sign, each device holds the same tamper-evident record hash and can create a readable PDF.

Issues can include a short description, a full-resolution photograph, and a voice note. This helps people describe objects and obligations even when reading or writing is difficult. A consenting witness may add a mark after seeing the accepted result.

Pajtim includes firm safety boundaries. It declines matters involving violence, abuse, threats, coercion, child safety, crime, inheritance shares, or another person's rights or property. Every shared issue includes a flag-and-end control. Either party may stop before signing; unfinished valuation and result material is erased.

The optional App lock supports fingerprint or face and a separate Pajtim App PIN as independent methods. Voice recording permission is requested only when the setup party chooses to record an issue voice note.

Pajtim calculates a settlement proposal. It does not give legal advice, decide anyone's rights, provide legal services, or determine whether a signed record is enforceable. Parties can show their record to a mediator or qualified local professional.
